Sustainable range has been developed to provide a choice of very different eating experiences.
Every one of the six products has a particular taste & texture. Some of them very unusual, other simply more luxurious and flavourful, all are delicious and worth exploring.
One of them is a winner already! Goji & Yacon Muesli was launched at Natural Trade Show Harrogate 2006. It has been recognised as The Best Product Food & Drink at the show and rewarded with the most prestigious award.
Superior Taste
Goji & Yacon – traditional texture, unusual sweetness from Goji, Yacon & Kamut.
Fruit, Seed & Spice - traditional texture, 47% variety of seeds & luxurious fruits, exotic aroma of cinnamon.
Very Berry – crispy & chewy, very fruity with wonderful fragrance of abundant strawberries.
Crispy Coconut Crunch – light and VERY crispy. The taste of freshly toasted coconut is irresistible!
Date with Cacao – traditional texture with unexpected crunch. Bitter sweet taste of chocolate!
Active – most unusual, everything about this muesli is different. Very light from puffed amaranth, sweetened only with apple, with lots of seeds & nuts. Gluten free, low in natural sugars, high in minerals & vitamins for metabolism and energy, fair trade.
Luxurious Ingredients
We are constantly sourcing new ingredients to make our muesli even more exciting. With the current over 200 to choose from, we CAN blend mixes that are just perfect!
Healthy breakfast
All our products are made without added sugar, salt or fats. But this is obvious.
We also make sure that each muesli has enough seeds, fruits and whole grains to provide healthy balanced nutrition. Sometimes we go even further and add super foods like goji berries (high in anti-oxidants, said to have rejuvenating properties), yacon root (lowering blood sugar prebiotic) or cacao nibs (powerful antioxidant with nutrients for mood enhancement and beauty).
Sustainable Products
This new, luxurious range has been packed in an innovative brown paper bag to reduce packaging waste. This bag has an additional benefit – the good-looking products may be appreciated through the window.
Alara is serious about sustainability. Our aim is to become a carbon negative, zero waste manufacturing site by 2010 (see sustainable.alara.co.uk).
LifeStage Nutrition range - “Functional” food the natural way.
It took us 3 years to develop LifeStage Nutrition. It seems like a long time…
But it was difficult to develop muesli that would maximise the content of different combinations of vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and antioxidants needed at different times in our lives.
And they also had to be very tasty!
We think that we succeeded and they are fantastic!
Each of the LifeStage muesli is very attractive with luxurious ingredients seldom seen in other products.

At Alara, we have over 28 years experience in manufacturing muesli, currently producing more then 250 different kinds. In 1998 the first Alara branded product Organic Rich was launched.
Since then our range has grown and improved. It now consists of nine different and delicious products, seven 100% organic, two of them certified by the Coeliac Society as gluten free and one manufactured with Fair Trade ingredients.
We pack in eye catching, elegant boxes made from recycled paper and ensure that the quality of the product inside is of the highest standard.
All products are full of fruits, nuts and seeds to give natural taste, sweetness and high nutritional values. None of them has sugar, salt or anything artifitial added.
