Poem of the Month prizes:
  - a case of your favourite Alara organic muesli
  - monthly exposure on the Alara website and for ever after in the archive

How the competition works:
  - Poems will be accepted for submission through out each month 
  - From the 1st of the following month  they will all be displayed on the website, 
    available for public voting. 
  - After a month of voting, the poem with the highest amount of votes automatically becomes the 
    winning Poem of the Month.
  - Authors will be able to see how many votes their poems gained.
  - The whole process is completely automatic.


Terms & Conditions:
  1.  Everyone can enter, regardless of age or country of residence.*
  2.  The poem's subject must be: Environmental issues:
       - the beauty of nature, 
       - joys of tending a garden,
       - ecosystems and how they are interdependent,
       - humans' place on the Earth as part of the environment (but it is NOT about people)
       - if you are talking about problems, take a perspective on what can be done to help rather then “it is so bad…”
  3.  Max length 24 lines including empty lines (doesn't apply to poems submitted before the 5th Feb) 
  4.  Poems need to be in English, without any use of offensive language.
  5.  Only one poem per person per month can be submitted.
  6.  One poem cannot  be entered more then 3 times and not in consecutive months.
  7.  Once the poem has won, it can never be submitted for the competition again.
  8.  We reserve the rights to exclude a poem, or in exceptional circumstances, the poet from the 
       competition if we feel that the above conditions are not met. 
  9.  Voting is allowed only once from one IP address. Please note that all IP addresses are recorded. 
       Poems with votes using software generating different IP addresses will be disqualified. 
10. By entering this competition you agree that if your poem wins, we have the right to use it for 
       any marketing activities without any obligation to you. This does not affect your copyrights.

* However, we apologise, but we are only able to post the muesli within the UK.
